Account Broker

Location: Canberra

Due to continued growth Austbrokers Canberra Pty Ltd, corporate authorised representatives of Austbrokers Sydney Pty Ltd (AFSL 244244) has an exciting opportunity for you to further your broking career. As an Account Broker you will be responsible for a portfolio of clients and your duties will include:

• All aspects of management of a client portfolio;
• Develop & maintain strong relationships with clients and underwriters;
• Seek & convert new business opportunities; and
• Identify clients needs and tailor suitable insurance programs.  

The successful applicant will have a thorough knowledge of the insurance industry with experience in broking preferred. Appropriate broking qualifications or a willingness to obtain necessary qualifications is desirable.  A strong work ethic and a genuine desire to achieve goals and succeed in the role is essential.
