Assistant Broker - Austral Risk Services

We are a highly regarded Insurance Broker looking for an exceptional Assistant Broker to be part of our team.

Within this role you will be responsible for supporting a Senior Account Executive with a large commercial and corporate portfolio.  

Some of the duties you will be responsible for –

• Processing of new business, endorsements and renewals

• Respond to enquires and requests from clients and suppliers

• Prepare quotation slips

• Placement of covers

• Certificate of Currency upon request  

You will provide and extremely high level of professionalism and develop strong relationships with clients, underwriters and other team members.  Assisting clients with claims is also an important part of the role.  

To be successful in this role it is imperative that you have previous insurance experience, hold relevant Tier level qualifications (Tier 2 minimum) and possess strong Word, Excel and report preparation skills. CBS knowledge is preferred but not essential – we can provide training.
