Broker Assistant

Location: Canberra

Due to continued growth Austbrokers Canberra Pty Ltd, corporate authorised representatives of Austbrokers Sydney Pty Ltd (AFSL 244244) has an exciting opportunity for you to commence or further your broking career.  As a Broker Assistant you will be responsible for assisting in the management and administration of a portfolio of clients and your duties will include:

  • Obtaining quotations and cover notes for new business
  • Preparing documentation for the renewal & new business process
  • Processing new business, renewals and endorsements
  • Diary and follow up system management
  • Managing general enquiries from clients and insurers  

Prerequisites include:

  • Excellent communication skills
  • Good attention to detail
  • Neat Presentation
  • Effective time management skills
  • A sound knowledge of Microsoft Office programs  

Previous experience in the insurance industry is preferred, however, training will be provided.
