Austbrokers Awards aims to acknowledge excellence in the insurance industry by recognising the brokers and industry leaders from the Austbrokers network across various categories, including the Frank Earl Award, Young Professional Award, Claims Manager Award, and Broker of the Year Award.
In partnership with Clyde & Co, the Frank Earl is awarded annually to recognise Senior Management who have demonstrated excellence in the Insurance Broking profession within Austbrokers network. In memory of Frank Earl who served on the Austbrokers board from April 2005 until July 2010.

Frank Earl personified honesty, integrity and transparency in his exemplary career. He considered these to be core characteristics fundamental not only to individual success but also to the industry as a whole. The criteria for evaluating the nominees will be their ability to show how they conduct themselves in their day-to-day work life displaying the above characteristics. More broadly, conducting themselves as a participant in the industry in a manner which consistently reflects Frank Earl’s three core values.

Open to all Austbrokers high performing brokers or claims consultants.

The AMS board will also assess the success of each nominated YP, including how much they have impacted their individual businesses by speaking with the Principal of the Austbrokers Businesses they are associated with. Judging will be carried out by members of the AMS board, and will include a member from Vero.

Claims Manager of the Year Award recognises the best claims manager within an underwriting agency operating in Australia and his/her efforts in supporting their customers
Open to all Austbrokers high performing Claims Managers.
The AMS board will also assess the success of each nominated insurance broker, including how much their portfolio has grown in recent years and what kinds of innovative solutions they are bringing to the industry. Judging will be carried out by members of the AMS board, including the CEO of AUB Group.

Demonstrating utmost commitment to both their clients through satisfied clients and portfolio growth and the industry as a whole. The criteria for evaluating the nominees will be on how their ability to show how they conduct themselves in their day-to-day work life and activities as a participant in the industry displays the above characteristics.
The Broker of the Year award recognises a broker who has demonstrated exceptional dedication to reach their maximum potential.
Open to all high-performing Austbrokers Principals, Managing Directors, Senior Managers, Account Managers, Claims Managers, Financial advisers and Risk Specialists.
